Neighbors

Do you get along with your neighbors? I only have one that is right next to me because we live on end of a dead end. But I have a problem with this one neighbor. Most of the time she minds her business and I mind mine. And other times when we do talk or visit she is very nice to me. Thing is this...I am an animal lover. I am soft hearted and I like them all from a timy fish to a large elephant. I have two dogs and one cat. My cat is older and doesn't venture off too much and thats a good thing because my neighbor hates cats!! I saw her one day with a bb gun aiming at a mother and her older kittens because they had romed to close to her yard. She sets traps up in her yard to catch ony that come in it. More than one of the other neighbors on this road have had their cats come up missing. Now she has never touched my cat but I cant stand the thought of what she does. She has a kind heart in other ways. She has given things to my kids before, brought us wood for our fireplace in the winter time and given me an emergancy ride when my car wouldn't start. But I keep thinking back to those innocent cats and kittens and do not see how I can be friends with such a person. What should I do? Ignore the cat thing? That gets harder and harder. Should I say something to her or should I stop talking to her at all. I'm torn. Please advise.

My only neighbor is our landlord and he's a total jerk to me. He is so nice to my husband though. I think he's got issues with women, so I just avoid him. When we got our puppy my son and I were outside with her and he told my 4yo son that he couldn't keep the puppy. I got pis.sed off and called my husband so when he got home he went to talk to the landlord. the landlord just blew it off and said we could keep her, my husband said good because we aren't getting rid of her! He's rude to me about something and then as soon as my husband is there he backs down.
I don't know what you should do about your neighbor, I couldn't speak to someone that would hurt a pet.

My neigbours used to be a nightmare, but they have moved iout and in moved the lovliest, nicest people on earth so now i have nothing to complain about =)
When it comes to your neightbur I can see how you would have a hard time with this. I guess all people all different and some just hate cats and that u gotta respect, what you don´t have to respect is if she actually hurt one of them.
try talking to her about it, and tell her how you feel!
