An album I've had for years, that I'm just now beginning to appreciate fully

is the Dead Kennedys' album, Plastic Surgery Disasters/In God We Trust, Inc. As my musical tastes grow and mature, I'm seeing more and more of the subtle techniques that went into writing these songs, putting the vibe and changing the vibe on the fly, as well as the influences of various other musical genres on what is probably my favorite punk album. I've had this CD since 2001 or so, yet only now am I beginning to really appreciate it.
If you don't have it, pick it up. If you do, share your thoughts on it. Or, share your thoughts on another album that has had a similar effect on you after years of ownership.

Thanks for sharing that, I'll check it out sometimes. I don't have any albums that have such an effect on me.
