Can any one share some ideas on how to put an end to terrorism. What shld we do?

terrorism as become a big head ache to every one nowdays.
IT has taken away loto f ppl lives and made lot of ppl handicaped.
Why is that religon being a traget? What are we achieveing by this?
Shold we not remove this barrier b/w us to stop terrorism.

The best idea is encounter if start encounter means other terroriest will get fear then step by step we can get down.
