Can a degu live with a ferret?

I have 2 ferrets and I am interested in knowing if they can live together. I have a large ferret cage and the ferrets have their own room the cage is in and have a very happy existence. I know of a degu that was abandoned that I would like to provide a home for and I would like to know if they can live in harmony? Please let me know if you know anything about this subject.
