I believe some of you at mylot do use linux. I was told that if you use linux you can get more than what you get compared to windows. How far is this true ? I am a windows user never have an experience with linux before. Can anybody give me some suggestion.

hi frnd....... i use linux!!!! ya its true that linux is more stable than windows in the case of security and reliability....but at the same time its made for the professionals!!!! so its bit difficult to work with it!!! the main advantage of linux is that its a open source software.... its kernel is editable... so u can change and alter the OS as ur wish!!! if u want u get a LINUX version from Ubuntu.com,,,, u will get a pack of two cd's.... in that one is installation cd and the other is demo cd with which v can work in linux without installation.. if u r satisfied then u could install it later... also linux come with pre installed softwares.......
