will you be comfortable enough to say yes to him knowing that you are already married?

The proper thing to do is say no. What would you be talking with him. And even if your intentions are good but still, you will feel guilty for your husband. Mere "hi's" and "hello's" is enough. Just for formality sake. Just my opinion.

well for me it wouldn't be am I comfortable with it, rather than is my husband comfortable with it? If my ex asked me out for a drink, I would say, sure, let me call my hubby and see if he's free. I think that going out with an ex, is just asking for problems in a marriage. No matter how secure you are in your relationship. I would not appreciate My hubby going "out" with one of his Ex's and I would never dream of going for a drink w/mine w/out my hubby.

I am not married, but I am in a long term relationship and have been or almost 8 years. I wouldn't have a drink with my ex . The relationship ended badly and I really would have no reason to go out with him. We have a child together so I do see him quite a bit and speak to him on the phone occasionally, but it is only about matters pertaining to our child and nothing more. He has made it clear on a few occasions that he still has feelings for me and I would just not feel comfortable going out with him.

well maybe not, but old time's sake maybe accepting his offer (1-2 shots..) won't do any bad with my married life.
