Why are there no Paparazzis in the Philippines?

Come to think of it guys, actors and actresses and singers are easier to catch in public here in our country and yet we don't have Paparazzis existing here in Manila. I mean there are reporters but really not a Paparazzi per se, unlike in the USA where its not that easy to spot a celebrity. What do you think could be a clear reason? Is it because people dont care that much?

It could be because the actors/actresses in the Phillipines are more local than wordly. The US and European actor/actresses are very popular all over the world, plus I really think they pay the parazzi to follow them. More publicity is better for their image. they act like they don't like it but it is putting LOTS of money on their plates. I am sure their press agents are setting all this up for them so everyone in their entourage can make money!

First of all, laws are different when it comes to privacy. There's so much freedom in the Philippines that a celebrity becomes a public figure who is subject to gossips, praise, or ridicule
