why do people like to watch the TV show cops?

I love watching cops, it's my background when I'm on the computer alot at night. I think it is sooo funny to watch some of these dummies try to get away. I mean please, some of it is so funny. It really shows you just how dumb some people are. I like when someone get stopped for a tail light out or something and they take off speeding away, then running in the woods. They rack up all these charges. If they had just rolled down the window and let the cop tell them their light was out...they might have been on their way scott free...lol

i usually watch it when im not at work. i see it when i dont have anything to do either. when im doing homework, though i sit down and watch it. it is really interesting to watch.
