How many holidays are needed for working people

In India, because of securalism, too many festival holidays are there. Apart from that Government holidays. And then Sundays and second Saturdays. Later it is individual`s casual leave, sick leave and earned leave. In all the working days will be about 200 out of 365 days in a year. People are just wasting time and not contributing to the economy of the country. What is your view?

I believe it is personal choice which days you take off. I think it's up to the Government to determine which ones are available to be taken off. If it's available, then it should be optional to take it. It's actually more profitable and more efficient for a company to enfore it's earned leave program. Leave can remove stress.
