ARE WEDYING TO EXPERIENCE ANOTHER MICROSOFT PRODUCT?Microsoft Philippines sets date for Vista launch By Erwin Oliva INQUIRER.net Last updated 09:34pm (Mla time) 01/14/2007 MICROSOFT Philippines is set to launch the Windows Vista operating system next month, officials have confirmed with INQUIRER.net. Windows Vista is the next version of the Windows operating system after Windows XP. Karrie Ilagan, Microsoft Philippines marketing director, said the launch will be at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City on February 3, 2007, but declined to give further details. Microsoft Philippine managing director Antonio Javier Jr. also confirmed the date, but also declined to provide further details. Last month, the local subsidiary gave local media and consumers a preview of the next-generation Windows operating system. The first preview was during Microsoft Philippines' retail launch with local partners at a posh mall in Makati City. Later, the subsidiary invited local technology media for a hands-on preview of the operating system and the Office 2007 software productivity suite. Microsoft Philippines has stated earlier that Windows Vista will be available in the Philippines within the first quarter of 2007. The software company launched Windows Vista Business version worldwide in November of last year.

Window vista is the latest operating system of Windows,well that's cool a hundred new features like Windows Aero, Windows Shell, Windows search, windows sidebar, Windows internet explorer, windows media player 11, windows mail ,windows DVD maker and a lot more.Although there are certain criticism about windows vista like concern bout security implications , it restrict copying of digital media and complains about many pc's cannot meet hardware requirements.
