Sometimes i wonder what the israeli/arab problem is all about,can somebody educate me on why the israeli and palestinians cannot live paecefully together

After the world war 2 lots of arab land were under the british and when jews wanted a country they implanted them into this arab soil...so in that process palestine lost some land...but as soon as israel was formed tesion arose and israel atacked and captured aprts of egypt and palestian....so now arab world as a whole tries to defeat israel , but fails so israel by its superior military power rulzz

Thanks for your response,so why can't the UN for the sake of peace intervene and share the land,give one part to israel and the other part to palestine,don't you think this will settle the problem?
