Hi all it was great to hear from you all and your views on the poor kitty we found. Well we found out it was a male and we called him Black Jack. He was eating really well and starting to look not as scared anymore. Anyway did I mention on my last post about the kitty that it has been really bad here weather wise? Well we got hit with a really bad storm here in the mid west of Ireland. Our neighbours roof of his farm was blown off and our place was not much better. WE had fences blown down and the shead that the kitty was in got a knockin too. The windows in it are just like a heavy thick plastic, anyway they blew out, all 4 of them. My husband went out the first really bad night of the storms (there were a few bad storms different days). He went out to check on the cat and maybe try to bring it in the house. When he got back he said all the felt was ripped off the roof and all the windows were gone! He opened the door and shon the torch in, he saw the cat, but it must have been so scared because the wind was really really loud. He went in to get the cat and the cat jumped out the window! We have been out everyday looking around the fields and the surrounding area and we havent found him. I was so upset at first but at least he is hopefully better off than he was with the can on his head. There are a lot of farms around here so he might have gone to one of them. Anyway I just thought I should let you all know what's been going on, as I haven't been on in here for a good few days now. Take care all X

Awww...that such a sad story. I didn't really get to read your other post. Don't give up hope of him coming back. He was probably really scared after all that. Cats adapt well to their environments so I feel like he will be okay and maybe return. Good luck.

Thank you for posting about this! I was just wondering the other day what had happened with this cat! You're right, he is definitely better off now than he was with the can on his head. He must have been really spooked, but I'm sure that he took off to another warm and safe place. Cats are resilient and very surprising. I wouldn't be at all surprised to read here some day that he returned to your place after a while! Please let us know!
