Hello everyone! I am going back to work full time in a hair salon! I am very excited, I have been a licensed hairstylist for 12 years, but took time off to raise my family. And I have a home biz in travel as well. Now, what I need is to build up a clientele again! So, I need some advice and ideas for doing this quickly! I am actually gonna be at a more swanky high end salon, that is not cheap, but it is well worth it! So, anyone have any ideas?? The salon is in Arvada, Colorado Thanks!

It seems to me that most hair stylists get more customers through referrals. Although that doesn't really help you right now, since you don't have a regular clientele yet. Another good way would be to offer discounts in the beginning, maybe color free with shampoo and cut? Once a customer likes what you do, they will return and also refer their friends. Also, get your friends and family to come in and tell them to tell their friends, etc. Networking can go a long way.
