AMBIEN... a sleeping pill

DOwners, sedatives, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety pills, they're called a lot of names and they are prescribed by doctors for different reasons.
Recently, I was asked to write about Ambien and I realized a lot of people needs medication to aid them in sleeping. I know these people are aware that these drugs are addicting but I'm wondering, how would they know they've been hooked on the drug?
Do you take sleeping pills? Why? Can you name one of its side effects?

I dont take sleeping pills but I take energy booster instead to keep me awake, alert and energise the whole day. The pills I take are from natural ingridients.
