I cant beleive this but this happened

I heard that the half brother of saddam's, body was cut from his head while hanging. The officials insist this is an act of god. But I have never seen or heard of a hanging where the head gets separated so is their any one having experience on the matter tell me if its possible for the body to be beheaded while hanging?

They claim it was an "act of God" for his head to be seperated from his body? That's absurd. Don't they take into account that strength of the rope and the thickness of the skin?

Don't get me wrong...I don't want it to sound like I'm agnostic. I just don't think God would do something like that.

When you hang someone properly, nooses are tightened against the side of the neck. This prevents decapitation, and also creates more angular momentum needed to fracture the neck (notice the Saddam video).
However, if you were to leave a noose somewhat loose, and place it directly behind the head, you would most likely decapitate someone with little effort.

physics will prove that although the act is rare, decapitation does occur occassionally.
I think this is one of those cases where someone is trying to make too much out of a natural occurance.

I like to believe that its an accident which is rare in all hanging executions. It is impossible for a person to be decapitated during a hanging.

i guess they pushed hard on there head which it make it to be cutted off
that's what i think and about the god ,he is the only one who know :)
