Are women more good at billiards than men do?

Some say that billiards are only for men. Well I certainly disagree with that! AT this time of age, women are making a good impression in the field of billiards. I myself is a living proof of it! Since I was 13, I was encouraged by my friends to play billiards. Up to now, it became a sport for me. Playing billiards is just like playing with life. You Have to be careful in aiming your goals, so the balls (your priorities) will not jump off the table.

It depends on the player I guess. Sure, women are very gentle and fragile-looking , but at this time of age, some women are really making a difference.

Understand, my aim is not to be sovenistic; however, there isn't any sport or game I can think of that a woman will beat a man. It's just not possible. Now sure, this billiards player known as 'the black widow' would beat most if not all, average joes, but she wouldn't fare well against Minnesota Fats, or any other male billiards professional. The same can be said for any other sport. Anna Sorenstan and Michelle Wie are professional golfers and they're entering tournaments for men, and getting their hind parts handed to them. Women can be competitive, yes, but only against other women. If you can think of any game or sport in which this is not the case, I'll gladly stand corrected and say so...but I'm hard pressed to believe that such a game, sport, and female competitor exists.

I don't think there's really a difference, there are talented men and women, just like about in every sport. I'm glad to see you are good at it though, we don't have so many good women around here, or at least in the places where I play...I hope to have the chance and the pleasure of facing a talented female at a snooker game someday :)

i agree with you 100% on that. there are a lot of women playing billiards nowadays and their fairly good. example is the black widow, jeanette lee! shes very good at it and is already a world champion! it doesnt matter if youre a man or woman, if this is your passion then you can definitely be good at it. i hope i can watch you on tv in the future playing a world class match. goodluck!
