Why are Indians and black people black and why are white men white? What is the logic behind the skin colors? It sure ain't the sun because they were black the minute they were born and no matter how those white men stay under the sun they don't turn as black as indians and black people. Why are the Chinese considered yellow?! We're not yellow.. Bananas are yellow. Not Chinese.

There is a pigment called Malanin in our blood. It is the main cause for human's skin colour. The ulttra violet rays of sun reacts on malanin. REfer Wikipedia for further details.

Why do Indians shake their hide from side to side when they are talking? The best reply I got from asking my friend's question was "To get better reception." hAhAHAHa..
In Bollywood shows, why do they roll down hills and pop up behind palm trees? How is it that everyone is living life as normal at one time, and suddenly they're all up and readily choreographed for some bogus dance that last a REALLLLYY long time and then continue going about their own business like none of the dancing ever happened?

How does living in a tropic country contribute to the difference in skin color? Take for example, in my country, why are the Indians black..err.. dark skinned.. and I'm not?

Hi,As I understand it the colour in the skin confers an evolutionary advantage by protecting the skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
Presumably, the evolutionary pressure was more intense where there are darker skins. Why Chinese and Japanese are considered yellow, I don't know?all the best urban

Black people are black becoz they are made to be black. Likewise white people are white becoz of the same reason and same goes for yellow other colors. If this answer can't prove anything,, then why is machael Jackson white now?
