Snorkeling

I love snorkeling! 2 weeks ago I went to an island and I saw a HUGE sea turtle. I've never seen a real live sea turtle before. I've eaten their eggs though. It's a delicacy here. Though I love the sea, I love eating even more. I especially love eating things that live in the sea; except fishes. Does anyone spearfish out there by the way?So anyways, getting there is easy. Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is located on the northern most state in Borneo. The islands are in the South China Sea. KK is now still a sad little town with an unemployment rate of 5.2%, but has a huge potential of booming into a tourist town. Facing the sea, the back bone of the city itself is the glorious Mount Kinabalu. Third tallest mountain in the world.
Has anyone ever heard of this small little city by the sea? Does anyone live there? Has anyone been there?

I saw octopus last time I snorkeled, 'twas amusing since I try to catch it. hehehe... I got it but since barehand, so the legs tickled my skin. so I let it go.

Snorkeling is very fun.I started doing it when I was in Florida,Ihave since then taught my wife how to do it.Together we both enjoy having fun when we go on vacations.

Sounds like you have found a new hooby ...yes snorkleing can be quite fun ..ezpecailly the first time its awesome to see everything ...I have been once and that was in Key West ...the water is so clear there its just beautiful ..I have never bben to your island but I hope you get to continue on with your new "love" of the ocean ...never heard of your island and never had the chance to vivt it yet ,,,thanks for sharing how beautiful it is ... :D

I have never heard or been to this island. I don't spear fish either. I would definitely love to go snorkeling. I have been wanting to do that for years. My husband keeps saying, yeah but something always comes up.
