How to crack IIT JEE 2007????

Getting through iit is difficult but not so... Be strong at ur basics and never let Ur solution leave the question.. Preferred books are:- Maths: A Das Gupta Physics:H C Verma Chemistry: Physical-O P Tandon or Arihant publication, Inorganic-O p tandon, Organic-Jagadamba singh or Arihant are better... All these are preferred only after U know sufficient theory and ready to practise... Otherwise go for reference books....Any more doubts just post them....But give more stress on to NCERT books...As per changed patterns and changed point of view of IITan requirements questions this year and next year are going to depend mostly on theory based questions...K...Wish U all the success in JEE.... Hope U enter IIT and get ragged with me.....Also hope these suggestions are of little help to U... Bye....

Well i too am trying this year I presume u have taken some form of cotching well the best u can do now is to gom on solving probs all the best

I appeared for IIT JEE 2002 and got selected in the prelims but could not get through because I dint do well in physics.At that time negative marking was introduced in prelims and many guys were shocked to hear it after the exam because they dint notice it.So anything could happen one should reach the exam hall early and read the instructions.One hint that I can provide you is that if a question carries 6 marks it means it could be answered in around 6 to 8 steps or lines if thought properly.If you are finding it difficult to answer then leave it and proceed to next question.If you have prepared well enough you could easily get through the prelims.Now you need to take as many tests as you can to rectify your mistakes rather than study more.It is also time to make in depth study of selected topics that are frequently asked.I hope that you will surely get selected.
