Poor tile job is resulting in tile guy placing lien on my home.

Tile guy did very poor job. I want him to redo at his expense or walk away. He's placing lien on my home. How do I fight it? How do I force the release of the lien once there? HELP!

well, threaten court, take pictures, hope you had a contract of some sort,all of these things are good ideas to take him to court. Then he can pay at his expense, and you can still have him walk away, and use the money to get it done right. Is this a side job, is there a warranty.......

Exactly what I would recommend; it may be the only way to ensure your credit is not tarnished, and you actually get the job completed properly. I'd also have another professional in the field come into your home and give you an estimate on fixing the tiling, and perhaps even provide a written report as to the quality/condition of work your current tiler did.
