Sewing and crafting

i love halloween. growing up in my house, it's no surprise i like making things, what with my dad and the inventering and my mom and the sewing/crafting (she is crafty, i'll give her that). but you always hear 'think of your favorite thing to do, then find a way to get paid for it.' yeah, it doesn't really work in my case. i like making costumes. shopping for all the perfect stuff, sewing it all up and doing all the makeup. it's great. i want to be a professional "that." or make my living participating in sleep studies. (p.s. isn't it ironic i work for a window company, but i stare at ugly wood panel walls all day? i feel like i'm in a daily 8-hour time-out...)
