I grew up watching wwe my entire life,i was disqusted by what i saw .i wa flipping through when i saw the macmohan beating the craap out of DX by using metal bar and cords. You know as an adult i know what's real and what's not,but a child does'nt.I can guarantee that at least 1/2 of all children watch WWE. I always belived in people having freedom "artistic expression" however,i think it's gone to far. It's one thing to pirtraay these men and women aas Althletic and allowing them to battle it out. It's another to haave half naked women prancing around and showing little boy that you can win if you use metal poles and other blunt objects. you know these companies have to use these tactics beacuse without them Absolutley no one would watch them.reason you ask It's become so fake.I meaan it's more like a freaking soap pera. What happened to good old fighting ??It's sad really it is ! McMahons make millions off our children eating up this crap.Is this really the example we want our children to see ?

When I was growing up we also liked to watch WWE. And though we belived everything was for real, we were amazed how come there was never any blood. When we were old enough to understand the reality it all lost its charm. And frankly, I think WWE is a bull... No hard feelings. I don't mind if others watch it, but I don't see anything worth of watching. It would be a spectacle to see it live, because it is a show kind of, otherwise, no thanks. From the children's point of view, it depends on the character of a child, whether should he or she watch it or not. If it's violant by nature, than it stimulates violence even more. But the children see an idol in some of the wrestlers and they intend to be as them. And to be as them means to fight. I don't see anything smart in that, I'm sorry, I don't think kids should watch it, but it really doesen't matter, does it?

i agree with you but even though if the child is peace lover i think this show can make it wild and leaves high impact on kids mind.they try the stunt for fun and play and there sometimes something goes wrong.

Performance wrestling has never changed. Only now many more of the characters are much more fit than they used to be. In addition with the advent of cable and satellite tv more people than ever have become devoted fans. Lest we not also forget the internet and realistic video games. Ultimately though, it's up to the parents to teach their children the difference between right & wrong and reality & fantasy.

I'm 41 years old and I watched wrestling back in the day. I went to see Andre the Giant, Superfly Snooka, and the Polish Hammer among others in Madison Garden in the late 80's. It was nothing like it is today. Yes there was a little bit of drama and hype. I don't think it's WWE that makes kids act out. I think it's a matter of parenting. My kids watched WWE, Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Tutles and now Naruto. They have been taught that hese shows are purely entertainment! They know to respect one another and only to fight to protect themselves.

I was watching last night, wondering the same thing... We are fans, and have a 3 month old- do we let him watch and enjoy it with us a year or 2 from now, or do we wait until he's closer to 10,11 years old? we go to a lot of matches, and there are tons of little kids there, I can't imagine they'll all turn into bad kids from it? I'm torn on this one!

I grew up watchin WWE too..or rather WWF as i called it, remember it as..lol..it was fun those days..and today i do understand it is total crap..and certainly we wouldnt want our kids watching this crap..Its totally into obscene stuff nowadays..actually..when kids are pretty old and when they can understand things, mayb they can be let to watch this...but even then, am worried about the bad things the kids might learn!..I should say it depends on the parents and kids!

I totally agree with you! I grew up watching wrestling and even went to several matches when I was much younger. My kids enjoy it now;however, I have put a limit on what they can watch on it. I have even emailed them about the stuff that they do on there. I see no point in the "bra and panty" matches and stuff like that. I also agree that they should be paticular about the kind of things they show McMahon doing and the items they use to hurt each other with. I don't agree with Triple H using a sledgehammer. Children could easily hurt or kill someone imitating that. I had a real problem with a wrestler known as "The Boogie Man' who was scary looking and ate worms and spit them on people- that is just sick! And we wonder why little kids are scared to sleep at night due to being scard of the Boogie man- I was scared of this one!
