Adopting a Child

I would like to know peoples feelings about this situation both for and against. Thanks in advance for your input:) My husband and I have a chance to adopt our 3 year old niece. She is the youngest child (and only daughter) of 4 to a Palestinian refugee family. The family has no intention of coming to the United States, but they feel she would be much happier being raised here. My husband and I have a 15 year old son and an 11 year old foster son. We would always let her know who her family is and where she came from. Based on religion, we can't "adopt" in the sense of "claiming" her as our own and changing her name, but we can adopt as in being her guardians.

Oh I think that is wonderful, to be able to adopt your niece, I think that they are thinking right and that she would be much more happier there in the United States, I do believe that you are doing the right thing and it that you must be a wonderful couple to offer this to your niece and family.
