Male is definitely an easier role. We don't have that tyrannical female biology, for one thing. Or the mindless fashions, or the absurd stereotypes. Nobody can make us take male fashions seriously, or macho BS as anything but the jerkfest that it is. Some of the beautiful, intelligent, women I've ever met would easily wipe the floor with the droning rhetorical feminist cliche cartoon characters, and the deadbrain bimbos. They've done the whole bit, beaten the glass ceiling, and don't much like being told how to be women, as far as I can see. The female role is 90% facts which have little or nothing to do with the mythology, and 10% inflicted by the mythology.
