people who never look into your eyes when you´re talking to them...

Why do they do it? It makes me feel as if I´m talking to a wall. I know you listen with your ears, not with your eyes, but I can´t help getting annoyed when people avoid all visual contact while maintaining a conversation.

i've met with people like that and i know just what you meant....i've been exposed to the retail business, being in my new job for a few days and i can definitely tell you that there's a lot of customers who refused to meet our eyes...and i find that it's so rude! they are either very rude, or they are shy...i dont know which.

I think it shows by their bodylanguage if it´s out of shyness. Then it´s a different matter, I feel for shy people and would try to make them feel more at ease. I mean people who seam to find it more interesting to look around the room instead of into eyes of the person who´s talking to them.

I have to say that I can not look People in the Eyes all the way through the Conversation lol they will wonder for a couple of Seconds but I would not look away all through the Conversation. My eyes just seem to wonder after a certain time but then go back to the Person who is talking to me.

Maybe that kind of people are insecured or having a inferiority complex. You should understand them instead of hating them. You can not blame them. It is a sickness that they are suffering.

Yes,it´s an old belief that people avoiding eye contact are lying. This can be the case with some people I suppose. By no means with everyone.

Yes these kind of people do annoy you and they are a bit of arrogant too. People who don't look into ur eyes while talking are never to be trusted upon.

People who are lack in self confidence always avoid eye contact while talking. It also indicates that they are not sure abt wat they re talking and some times it indicates they re telling lies. So you dont need to get angry. and also ppl who are searching for words also will avoid eye contact. Like Typing looking at the screen and not.
