Does your husband know how to cook

Well I know I am talking of gender streotypes but when it comes to household work though men help a lot in other chores but kitchen always remains for the lady of teh house. I really wish if my husband knew how to cook and could do that for me sometimes. I sometimes ask him but he just doesnt want to. Are there ways to encourage him to join me in the kitchen.

I have no problem with my husband. We use to own a cafe and he cooks alot. In fact I would prefer if he did it all the time. He's a better cook then I am.
He was in the restraunt business for over 15 years. He knows his stuff.
