Soapies

I must say Days of our lives is not my favoutite, I prefer the Young and the restless. Unfortunately they don't show it here only Days:-(

I'm sorry, Kathy, but I can't help you here. I do not watch any soapies and haven't done so for at least twenty years. In fact, I hardly watch any TV at all. I do a lot of personal counselling, and from my memories of soapies, I'd say things haven't changed. True life for many people is one big soapie. I cannot talk about details of the lives of the people I counsel, but what a crazy, mixed-up mess some of them jump into! Incredible! If I was to watch any TV, I'd want a change from what I see around me. I'd want to watch something uplifting: something that gives me hope that there is a future for the human race; that a return to decency and morality is not an impossibility. I wonder if anyone will ever produce a soapie like that? Possibly not; it would be a failure at the box office: no one would watch it.

That is one of my Favourites but we can't get that anymore which really disappointed me as I used to love it I do hope that that it will come on again and that it will carry on from where it finished here not that I can remeber now

I was a passions addict untill it became so unbelievable. I'm tired of watching them stretch out the romance between Ethan and Teresa. The whole show is getting old and they really need some new ideas. The same for Days of our lives. I only catch it now when I know there will be something worth my wild on.

While I lived in the States I watched All My Children, General Hospital, and One Life To Live. They used to air them over here in the UK, but not anymore. I have to be happy with an email update. It's just not the same!! Since being here, I am hooked on Emmerdale. I still miss my US shows though. Maybe I should get that thing for the computer that lets you watch shows on your computer that are broadcast worldwide.

I dont watch soaps but my girlfriend does. She is a days fan as well. She has been watching it since it started pretty much. I dont get it. I watch one episode every month or so with her and its the same topic. lol. I will never get it they are all the same. Best of luck to you
