star ratings at myLot

myLot ratings started at 7, then went upto 9, then down to 8. Have you had any fluctuations in your ratings? How did you feel about them, I smiled to my self, realizing the rate fluctuates, but with what factors I'm not so sure, at any rate, I like to watch this ratings move.

Well,i have mine at 9 stars when it first came out,i was actually surprised.Then it changes to 8 stars,then when i opened the site now it come back to 9 stars.I have not given much thought about this stars really,i guess when somebody give you a positive rating thats when your stars goes up.

Well.. I have never experience such a fluctuation is myLot ratings... lol... it just sit there being 8 all the time... lol... I sure hope it would go up to 10 but it never did! I think it is because you are inconsistent in your posting quality or something.... I don't know about that. Or maybe the length of discussion is not consistent. For me, I keep on trying to post consistent in quality and length of discussion. In that way, (I think) I can manage in the long run. I suppose I work based on what I can achieve, that's all. Thanks! Are those durian fruit, Must be, do you have it abundant in your place, I love the fruit. its just yummy, they come by so expensive though. Why don't you open a discussion on this kind of exotic fruit, make an in dept report about durians, you might just hit it 10 when you do this. At least we do enjoy what we do, and there is a rating we watch fluctuate, adds to the entertainment here. Good luck, I shall come back to your page again to see if you have something on durian. good for you, it means you are consistently good, strive harder and don't get lazy in your responses, you might just go 10 before you know it. Enjoy anyway, Thanks for your sharing

I noticed fluctuations in other's star ratings, too. But with mine, I started 7 then went to 8 and then it just stuck there. It won't move. I rate all the responses in my discussions as well, I gave everybody a positive and my responses are longer now but it still won't move. I don't know if the star ratings matter when it comes to our earnings. Does it?

It's just a measure of how valuable a member is with mylot I guess, Its something that we would lie to keep up, because it is a measure of the quality of discussions we may have, It might not be very much accurate measure though, but it adds some fun in our stay here at mylot. Just have fun, earnings will just come, who knows in a year time it could buy u a good Christmas present

Perhaps we need to discuss more in details and be as descriptive as possible, whether in opening new discussion or in posting response. Keep busy with my lot, strive harder. See you at the top, a lot are waiting for us there already.

Your not alone my friend, just today after responding to my 12th response my star rating sudenly decreased from 9 to 8. I don't understand it becuase as far as im concerned it did not do anything wrong nor violated any mylot rules. Frankly speaking i feel so disgusted about it. Here i am doing my best to follow mylot rules, posting and responding to topics with quality in mind then suddenly "poooof" my 1 point is gone. I don't understand it, If only there's a visible moderator to convey are disappointments.

hello there jackf501, its good to see your heart, The beauty of the star rates are in the fluctuations of it, try to keep it up, but when it goes down, pull it up again. Is this not fun?
