Can it survive? I observed a couple close to me who's married for 7 seven years now and has no child yet. I noticed they're always irritated with one another. I once advised them to adopt a child but they dont like the idea.

The purpose of a marriage is to join into one and results offspring, so it's totally normal, problems arise in such marriages, however it does not necessarily means they will be ruined, love is found deep inside our heart, if communication is applied, most problems would be resolved. Adopting a child would be an answer to that type of situation, but raising someone who is not your blood takes a lot of effort, if they cannot handle it, it's way better to leave that this way.

It sounds like they want to be a childfree couple. Some people are getting to be that way. I doubt the arguing has much to do with a child. If they did have a child and the arguing continued then that get a divorce, then they have a child in the picture to think about. Sounds like they might not be a good couple from what you've said.

If any couples are adjusting enough, any type of marriage can survive, whether childless or sexless. I know lot of couples who cant besr a child but still happily married. May be in the west, it is impossible!!
