Yes, my 10 month old baby boy only eats those gerber thingys in the glass jars! I'm having a difficult time weaning him off of this because he absolutely refuses to eat anything else I offer him. I'm afraid that if I might starve him if I don't continue feeding him gerber's though. Would you have any alternative to gerber's?

Hmm ... I guess I'm fortunate in that my 2 kids did not have that problem. That's probably because I did not introduce them to those baby food in jars. When they first started on solids, I bought those packaged baby cereal thats supposed to be mixed with milk. After sometime, I also introduced steamed veg like carrots and potatoes as well as fruits like apples, bananas, papayas. Then I slowly introduced plain porridge with fish, minced pork and chicken. Hope this helps you.

hello there!my six month old on the other hand won't eat gerbers!!!i started feeding her at 4 months, at first she liked peaches and applesauce but she got sick of it. now i give her those cereals, wheat, rice and soya that comes in a box and you just add water in it then i mix it with mashed potatoes, carrots or squash.she seems to like it more than gerber. i notice though that she get's tired of it fast so sometimes i really force the food in her mouth just so she eats.
