good cheap hotels

My husband, my then to be 1-year-old baby boy, and I are planning to vacation in las vegas for about 3 days. We would like to find out what cheap but decent places there are to stay within the strip. This would be the first time we will visit las vegas as a family.

My husband and I stayed in Las Vegas a few years ago. We went during thanksgiving one year and christmastime the next. The off season is the best time (price wise) to go. We stayed at circus circus (http://www.circuscircus.com). It is on the strip, it is cheap (approx. $39.00 a night), the rooms/beds are huge (king size), they have a lot of things to do. If you don't mind passing through a casino upon entry/exit then it is one of the best. The whole strip is within walking distance (well some of it!). I really enjoyed staying there.

I want to amend this. The only time this hotel is at a low price is during the off season. Otherwise choose another hotel. Sorry, I just checked the website. I do not want to mislead anyone.
