i have watch this cartoons since i was high school it was so tremendous and great i love them

Indeed this cartoon is made from manga, the main story is he same. There are some cases that the anime is different from manga which I think it's because the story in manga is not enough for making anime so they have to make original story for anime. For me, I usually read manga and wathc only Conan the movies http://www.mangas.wordpress.com

Vandread manga Vol 1 - Two volumes and one special manga were written, serving as an alternate storyline to the canonical anime series. The manga takes a vastly different approach to the story, with several characters reinvented, and new ones added.
I have also watched this series and also like it. It is very entertaining. There was also a released manga of it though the story goes differently ^_^
