what is vonage phone?

A Vonage phone is a service that uses VOIP (Voice Over IP) to make calls at a very low price. It utilizes the internet to make actual phonecalls (like Skype or YM). It is very cheap. =) Here in my country, we had a Vonage phone in the office. We calls US numbers quite easily and costs nothing. =)
