do you think ps2 would be overtaken by xbox 360 or ps3,in the near future keeping in mind their high costs and lack of variety of games

he is the leader now, but Wii will pass him in no time i think Wii is the greatest idea in video game ever, Nintendo sure did a great job.

If I had to pick one of the 2 systems, I'd say the X-Box 360 has a better shot than the PS3 at this time. $600 for a system?! Who is going to go out and afford a video game system at that price. That had to be one of Sony's biggest mistakes with it right there. It has actually given me a reason to stay away from it, the price. If Sony doesn't lower the price, that could really hurt the PS3 big time if it hasn't all ready.

currently it's still the PS2 that's reigning as the king of consoles coz it's much more efficient pricewise and quality wise but if the PS3s price goes down you already know what happens next :)

My hubby HAD to have a PS3 so we got one had it for maybe 2 or 3 months bought and traded all the games that he liked and then he had nothing just a wait until the next game he may be interested came out which is in August so he took it in to EB games and traded it back for PS2 and like 17 games. and we got the router to hook himinto the interent and he couldnt be happier. I think they may eventually do well and PS2 will fade but i dont think we have to worry about that in the near future.
