Acquire skills in the field you are called expert. Ensure that you are uptodate in that field. This gives you greater confidence. You walk tall.

Don't worry if you are failing to get a job. We all know this is booming time for Information Technology, and also it is so easy to get an IT (Software) job with a simple steps with a little bit of concentration on the area you have chosen. Kindly read the below steps carefully. If you are not confident enough after reading the below steps or if you have any questions, or if you have already done each and every step of this please feel free to send a message to me.. I can suggest you a better career for you. I have seen couple of guys who are worrying about their career though they have very good knowledge on the languages, databases, aptitudes, and good command over the interview questions and written test. I have observed that the guys are vexed trying and trying the jobs, and seeing their friends and relatives are getting the highly paid jobs even though they have less scoring in academics and not much familiar with IT related stuff. The first steps are: 1. Don't compare with your friends who already in job. 2. Keep a time frame for 6 months and assume that you won’t get job for 6 months. 3. The very important this in IT is communication skills. Read a news paper preferably The Times (The Hindu for Indiana) for 15 to 20 minutes loudly at home for 1 or 2 months. So, you get good reading skills as well as sentence framing skills. I know many guys whom I suggested, they start with very much enthusiasm and stop reading after few days with some silly reasons. Please don’t do that. 4. And choose one booming Software practice like Oracle, UNIX, SAP, and Testing. Important: Learn any one of them and which is familiar to you in your academics. Like who are strong in Database skills they can go for Oracle apps or any data ware housing areas. Don’t prepare/publish/post your CV in the job forums or sites unless you complete the course. If you already had done this, request respective job sites, forums to remove the CV. Most important things: 1. Preparing for interviews 2. Project work i) Preparing for interviews: Preparing for interview requires good communication skills. For that you can speak to any counselors in training institutes, or Company H.R.’s, any agents to whom you can speak for good time in English. “Only in English”. So, you will be on track to speak in very good English. If you think and proved you have very good command over English, you are almost done to get a good job soon. ii). Project work: This is the major step, what ever the course you are attending, you need to have very good concentration on the project work. You have to practice like how you need to work in real time. Just fully depend on the institutes who offered you live projects. You spend the time at your institute or at home (if you have Own PC). Ask your friend/relation who are in Software Jobs. Take some small assignment and work on that, generally every body will do that; very important thing which is a fetching in interview for you is "Documentation". Ask your friend the template of documentation they are using. So, also prepare the documentation and start the work and finally finish it with the assignment installation document. Very near future we are going to post documentation templates for different tasks. Once you complete the training/reading English/project work. You are ready for facing interviews. Prepare a CV with your skill sets, write clearly what you have done for project works and talk to the recruitment companies/or H.R.’s of direct recruiter and then submit your CV. Prepare well, attend mock interviews and go ahead. We are sure you will get Job within 2 to 3 months after preparation. If this helps you or gives you some idea on approach, please send a message to me. A kind request for the parents who are reading this post in myLot: Please give your boy/girl some time (6 months) leave them alone and encourage them and also don't compare with the children of your friends/colleagues who succeeded in getting the job. One fine day you children will get a great IT job or any job.
