Do you believe in revenge?

A long while ago, I took revenge on an ex who had cheated on me with a friend of mine (the friend didn't know he was my boyfriend and had never met him before). We hadn't been going out a long time and I had some fun getting some revenge on him for cheating on me. It didn't cause him any harm and it wasn't really malicious stuff. Do you think that it is ok to seek revenge? Have you yourself avenged an ex partner or have you had revenge taken out on you? What do you think?!
