Job Hunting

Lately I've been on the job hunt since my mom got a new car. She has full coverage, so I'm allowed to drive it. Which means I can get a job during the hours that she would be home. I could only do part-time, technically, due to the hours. Because the hours aren't the traditional 2nd shift hours (6pm to midnight is what I'm available for), and because of my lack of experiance, I have a hard time finding someone wanting to hire me. This is where my question comes in. How do you go about job hunting and filling out applications? Do you fill out a bunch and return them at once? Or do you only apply for a couple jobs at a time? I used to do a bunch at once and return them all at once, but I found I never heard back from any of them. In the end I found I was left with no more options. This time I'm trying only 2 or 3 at a time, calling on them after a week, and then if none of them look promising (or only one is a maybe, but the rest are probably a no), I go out and try again. Going through the same process over and over until I'm out of options. Tell me what you would do, or what you currently do, when you go job hunting. If you have any good tips for me, please share them. I could use all the help I can get!

When I was job hunting, what I did was to apply online first. I would apply online for several companies and then wait for their call. However, if I really think it's a good company, I would try to walk in and apply personally.

Sorry I didn't reply to your comment sooner, I've been in and out of myLot. I get distracted easily =) Thanks for your comment. Most of the places around here I have to go in to get their application. Only one or two of the places allow me to apply online.
