Star ocean 3 : Better than final fantasy?

Im not sure, What do you think? I have played it and it is one of the most amazing RPGs i have played in a long time, Definatly the bestRPG on the ps2 so far (i havent played ff12 yet but ffx and ffx-2 werent that great)

It was a good game, but it doesn't beat the classic Final Fantasies. Though as far as I'm concerned, nothing can beat Final Fantasy VI. That's the pinnacle of RPGs for me, and all other games are measured against it. I do enjoy the Star Ocean series, though. Good story, good graphics, interesting characters... worth the money.

final fantasy VI, the one i missed though i do agree the older ones were great, my favourite was V of the (sortof) newer ones i prefer VII i started playing star ocean 2, but just got a Wii, you know how it is ;)
