today my mother told me i was wrong doing what i did my whole life. i used to run away from home to my uncle's place everytime my father beated me for no reason just because he got drunk. was that a mistake to run away? what have you done?

it is hard to understand mothers sometimes...but i guess you did that because you found it the fastest way to escape...but also being afraid and looking for shelter, like help and love also. you could get all these by running away.

You should ask your mom what you should have done then. Stay and get beat some more. Does he beat her too? there are laws to protect you. You could have had him arrested and then what would she think. What did your uncle tell you? I ran away from home once. I had been molested by my mothers boyfriend and my mom didn't believe me. I actually went to a safe house for a few days. The cops made my mom kick her boyfriend out so I could come back home. Life sucks sometimes and you got to do whatever it takes to protect yourself even if others don't agree with your actions. No, I don't think you were wrong in running away. But I don't really understand why you came back if the abuse continued.

No I don not think you were wrong,I think your mother is wrong in allowing him to beat you in the first place,I do not know much about Rumania,but here in Canada,you could charge him with abuse.
I know it is hard,but in some cases,it is needed.
I hope this abuse has stopped.
