When you are far away from home, cravings of Filipino food is often rampant. I always miss eating ginataang malunggay with monggo or ginataang langka with tuyo. Also, halo-halo. What about you? What filipino foods are you craving?

Hi ladymoonstone, yes, you are correct of what you said, but i guess i am just lucky, there are lots of chinese/or asian stores here. You can get what you want fr there, although not all but more than what you crave for.Although havent seen any malunggay here but i've seen chinese kangkong and monggo or beans are in different kinds. What i crave for is the friendly atmosphere of our fellowmen and just being there, around relatives and real friends, also i miss having a maid, i had 3 when i still live there, helping me doing things around and with my kids and when you go shopping. But for food, why not try to go to china town ?
