What's so famous about las vegas??

Hey all you out there can you really let me know why is las vegas so famous. what are the things it is famous for? I have never visited vegas thou I live in US but really would like to go over there , but before going there I should know for what porpose i m visiting vegas. can anybody tell me about it?

Casino. Las Vegas = Casino. And if you want to have an instant married that is many chapel to do that. And other thing is ...City of Lights. So bright and full of light at night.

Lights, firework, casino's. Don't know it's like a playground for real men or something, just gotta be there once!

It's famous for their long casino strip. A long street with great casinos, you can walk a long time to see all of them. The buffet meals at the casino restaurants. Vegas is also well known for drive-in weddings, Elvis impersonators marrying people.
