Minute Man Project

Heros or vigilantes? For those of you who have never heard of it, the Minute Man project is a group of citizens who have volunteered their time to monitor the borders. They watch the borders on their free time reporting all illegal activity they see. They are armed, but that is only for personal protection. Do you see them as heros? Or do you see this as a form of vigilante that should be frowned upon?

I think its a great idea. They work with border patrol to fill in more gaps. I've heard stories of abuse, but I think that most Minutemen understand that that only hurts their cause. I wish the government showed that kind of initiative.
