My husband had lung cancer and passed away November of 2004. He died at home and had been sick for almost a year. It was really hard to watch this once vibrant man slowly pass away. We had an 11 year old son at home at the time. It was really hard on him. I am hoping that they find a cure one day for this horrible disease. We go to the Cancer Relay every year. I miss him every day.

That must be really hard. I lost my grandpa three years ago to lung cancer and emphysema. It was horrible watching him slip away. I took me forever to accept it. I really hope they find a cure too. No one should have to go through that much pain.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think it is terrible to have lung cancer and not only the lung cancer, but also all the cancers . lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric carcinoma are all the most malignant cancers.
