How does the mylot pay scale work?

Hey Everyone, I am somewhat new to mylot(as you can tell by my post count) and I was wondering, how does the pay work? Is there a flat rate for posts? How much for a referal? Does the amount of pay change based on post count or stars? Just wondering so I can try to increase my earnings. Thanks!
