Ninja gaiden and ninja Gaiden Black Difference?

i played ninja gaiden black on xbox, and i really like the gameplay and graphics as well as the in game animation, Ive already finished it now i just found out that there is ninja gaiden game prior to ninja gaiden black, and i bought it, started playing it but it seems that it still like ninja gaiden black ... is it the same? whats in the ni nja gaiden that in nija gaiden black dont have???? or should i returd this game??? =(
