I don't know that would be difficult. I think if my kids were overwieght it would be mostly MY fault being the parent and all. So I think parents shouldn't really say much to thier kids, just encourage them to exersize and eat right. If you have alot ofjunk food in your house and wonder why your kids are gaining weight, that is problably why. Get rid of the junkfood and start exerisizing as a family, and you prob. won't really ahve to say much, they would start loosing weight by themselves.

Hmm This is a tough one... First of all I whould have to say that parents should let the child know that no matter what they LOVE them for who they are and that the weight thing is just for the sake of having good health. Being concerned for someones good health is because you love that person in the first place and not because you are trying to hurt them or make them feel bad! People who feel bad try to use the tast of food to comfort them and sometimes don't have much else to do in life so they tend to eat to fill their time... I know because that is how I grew up. I was never active nor was I encouraged to have friends and to go out to have fun running around and getting well needed exersize! Especialy in hot weather it is best to just relax to avoid heat stroke! Everyone should be moderate in eatting and exersizing I believe, there is no solution to this problem other then taking caution in the over all well being of a child no matter how they appear and having a positive attitude towards life!
