What is the BEST Stealth-Based Game?

As far as I am concerned, Metal Gear Solid is the best. But after finishing the game for many times now, I want to try other games with the same genre. I can not seem to find a game that suits me well. By the way, i would prefer a PC game. Help please!

I have heard of splinter cell but I have not yet been able to play it. Is this really good?.. I hear "Hitman" is also a good stealth-based game. Have you played this game?

I like Metal Gear Solid, Hitman, and Splinter Cell. But if I have to choose, Metal Gear Solid wins, hands down. I have only played until Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The best thing about it is that Snake can already use camouflage by changing uniforms and face paint.
