Present for Godchilds 21st

My Godchild is 2I soon and I dont know what to get him. I dont see him too often now that he is older so dont know a lot about who he is. I know he's into Metallica but I wouldnt know the first thing about that so wouldnt attempt to get him music or tickets or anything like that. He is from a fairly comfortable family so money wouldnt really be appreciated and I dont like the thoughts of gift vouchers. Id like to get him something to mark the occasion that he can keep and enjoy in years to come. Any suggestions??

Depending on the amount what about an ingraved bracelate with his name and the date of his 21st birthday.

Dont think he'd wear one unless it was black leather and covered in skulls and spikes and things.

God, that's a difficult one because guys aren't really sentimental like us women are. I can't imagine what a 21 year old guy would want that he'd like to hold onto. If he's into music then you could buy him an electric guitar? Or maybe see if there are any collector Metallica things that he'd be interested in. It's a pity you wouldn't get vouchers because you could get him a Golden Discs one and he could pick concert tickets or cds. Or you could get him something from www.topgifts.ie which I think is a brilliant website.

I can recommend topgifts.ie. There great. Does he drive? If not how about driving lessons.. EBay's great for Metallica stuff.

How about a ring (very masculine ring of course) with the appropriate date etc engraved? Or you could buy him a voucher (I know you don't like vouchers but he will always remember this one) for a massage from Melt.
