what all do u know about gold fish???

there r many stories and beliefs about gold fish..in japanese culture it is considered as fish bringing good luck..what else do u know?? share ur knowledge..

to day what we see as various types of gold fish, are not created by nature. those big eyes, double fins etc. those are hybrid species. In japaneese culture anything that is golden in clor related to good luck. so our cute little gold fish got it as rainfall business.

Never heard that before. I know gold fish are considered feeder fish and a lot of other things eat them to survive.

gold fish are feeders because of their ability to multiply quickly and they are harmless fish..

I know a lot of people love goldfish for they bring goodluck to them. In a sense they make it a hobby to care for them, like when you are in stress, feeding them and seeing their swimming motion give a stressful relief after a days work. They also gave great relief to me when im depress with all the problems Im having in my life.

the only thing i know abt gold fish is that it is lucky for everyone and thats why i had one in my aquarium

goldfish are a species of carp. Some goldfish get very big. I have caught common carp and eaten it, but I didnt care for it too much. I prefer gamefish like crappie, bass, catfish and all panfish.
