Who's the best thriller novel writer of our times?

Hi, my hobby for the last 16 years is reading bestselling thriller novels by different authors, from Sidney Sheldon to John case. But in my opinion, none can rival the mastery of Robert Ludlum and I consider him the best that we've got in our time. My friends, your suggetions and choices are welcome. Thanks.

my favorite thriller writer would definetly be none other than sydney sheldon. his ability to create unusual suspence in all is novel is something god gifted. his writings makes the reader to think about the characters, to solve the mystry behind each character. though most of his works have a very peculiar style of writing, the end result is always refreshing, a brand new story to keep us thinking.

my favourtie thriller writer has to be ian fleming, the bond books are the most thrilling there is :-)
